Coosa County Schools will be offering non-traditional instruction from April 6, 2020 through May 21, 2020 due to the mandates from the Alabama State Department of Education. Instructional material packets will be provided to the students each Monday beginning April 6, 2020 at designated locations. See below for drop-off locations/times. Teachers will provide instructions for completed assignments to be returned virtually, photocopy via email, REMIND, Google Classroom, etc.

Teachers will provide an online presence to help students with assignments. Contact your child’s teacher by email. You can search for a staff member’s email by visiting the school website ces.coosaschools.k12.al.us or chs.coosaschools.k12.al.us and click on staff directory.
Technology resources can be found by going to coosaschools.k12.al.us and visiting the Technology Page. If you have a question about user names, passwords, or general technology use please use the form provided on the site to reach out to the district.

Board of Education Office
All games, practices, and athletic events have been canceled through the end of the school year.
All school-related field trips and extracurricular activities have been canceled through the end of the school year.
School nurses will not be in the office during this time. Contact Celeste Thornton via email email@example.com to arrange pick up of medications. Medication pick up requires parent signature.
Practice activities will be sent home to students and the therapist will follow up with families.

Lunch and a snack will be delivered on Mondays and Thursdays beginning April 6, 2020. Buses will depart from schools at 12:00 noon for drop-off locations. See back for drop-off locations/times. Ed’s Deli in Goodwater and Triple R Café in Rockford will continue to provide lunches from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
